EIS Surpasses Carbon Reduction Goals in Scheider Electric's Zero Carbon Project
Atlanta, GA - January 29th, 2025
As part of Schneider Electric’s Zero Carbon initiative, EIS committed to reducing its carbon intensity (CO2 tons generated per unit of sales) by 50% between 2019 and 2025. Through strategic sustainability initiatives and operational improvements, EIS has exceeded this goal ahead of schedule, achieving a 55.50% reduction by 2024.
Significant Progress in Emissions Reduction
EIS has demonstrated remarkable progress in its sustainability journey, significantly reducing both Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions:
2019 | 2024 | |
Scope 1 | 1,299 | 663 |
Scope 2 | 2,155 | 1,462 |
FTurnover | 327,300,644 | 452,510,927 |
Scope 1+2 | 3,454 | 2,125 |
Intensity | 0.00001055 | 0.00000470 |
Delta | -55.5% |
This substantial decrease reflects EIS’s commitment to minimizing its environmental footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.
