Therm-Aimid, designed for continuous operation at 200 deg C, provides superior abrasion resistance, solvent resistance and overload protection. Rea applied its Hyslik technology to this product and introduced Super Hyslik 200. Heat shock resistant, moisture resistant, surface toughness and chemical resistant topcoat. Superior chemical and moisture resistance, especially with refrigerants in hermetic applications.
Featuring the same materials, construction and benefits as Therm-Aimid, heavy build round Super Hyslik 200 includes a proprietary internal lubricating system to aid windability and insertion. Today, Super Hyslik 200 has replaced Therm-Aimid in all AWG 10 - 34 applications.
