3M 1206 tape is a 1 Mil polyimide film backing with an acrylic, pressure sensitive adhesive. 3M Polyimide Film Electrical Tape 1206 is used for high temperature electrical applications where solvent resistance is required for wrapping coils, transformers. - 3M 1206 tape is especially suited to high temperature transformer applications where silicone cannot be used. Used as a cover layer material for many types of flexible printed circuits.
